The Marine Color Guard posts the colors to lead off the reception.
Attending the VIP reception were the Tuskegee Airmen who served as grand marshals. Together for the evening were Robert Brown, Alvon Johnson, Tamatham Moto and Hiram Little.
Relaxing for a moment are Adm. Debbout and Gen. Johnson.
Still in his flight suit when he arrived for the reception, Gen. Coolidge spends a few minutes with his mother and father, Frances and Charles Coolidge, Sr., recipient of the Medal of Honor.
