Memorial Day 2008
at the Chattanooga National Cemetery
A crowd estimated at well over 1,000 persons attended Memorial Day Services at the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, May 26. Sponsored by the Chattanooga Area Veterans Council, the host organization was Wilkes T. Thrasher Veterans for Foreign Wars Post 4848. Plans are underway to nominate the ceremony for a national award.
